Good news, your heater is in stock in our warehouse located in Cheviot / CanterburyNew Zealand. Our usual processing time is 24 hours but during NZ summer season the processing of your order can be much faster (usually the goods are shipped the same working day). As every installation kit is unique, we have to build your kit based on your requirements and that takes time. You will receive the tracking number immediately once the order leaves our warehouse.
HEATPORT H6 Hybrid is not an instant hot water system for shower or tap, but rather hybrid air heating solution allowing to distribute the heat via coolant to more remote locations with less heat loss in conjunction with radiators. The coolant circuit can be also used for preheating the engine coolant. The thermostatic regulation of the power reads the temperature of the air and does not consider the temperature of the coolant at all. You need to ensure the circuit is balanced and the water does not start boiling.
Diesel heaters HEATPORT, Eberspächer and Webasto can be legally used on New Zealand roads. This product meets all the safety standards and the installed product does not require special certifications as the modifications necessary for standard installation do not meet the conditions specified by Low Volume Vehicle Technical Association.

Unlike the gas appliances, this product does not have to be installed by the certified installer and meet safety inspections. Most of our customers install the units on their own. However, we always recommend the installation to be done by an experienced technician.

Additional Extended Warranty (calculated as +9% of the price of product) extends the coverage up to two years from the purchase date. An extended warranty covers repair or replacement of parts with manufacturing defects or faulty parts where the fault has clearly not been caused by incorrect installation or inappropriate use. We may also supply replacement part(s) directly and provide instructions for replacement. HEATPORT runs its own service centre in New Zealand and holds the physical stock of replacement components and is ready to help resolve any type of issues.

HEATPORT Tower H4 has not been designed for the installation through the floor. The best use of this unit may be heating of sheds, garages where the unit is sitting in the exterior under the water-resistant cover (not included) with duct inlet / outlet connected through the wall into the interior or in the well vented interior where the exhaust system is run outside (fitting not included in the STANDARD KIT. The unit should never be installed in living spaces especially where people sleep as there is a danger of carbon monoxide poisoning in case the connection of the exhaust hose tail and the flexible exhaust pipe started leaking for any reason etc.
